Ive shot techno the last couple winters with my church league the only thing that messed me up was always having to answer the question "DO YOU HUNT WITH THAT?" After the scores got posted I didnt have to do that as much

It's fun, but I'm afraid of picking up bad habits if I shoot more than once a month. Same shot over and over again, and less fun if it's not calibrated perfectly.

As long as you always remember, the target size is the only thing that changes. Not the range. It screwed with me the first time I shot one. As long as you keep in mind that its not a far shot, just sometimes a smaller one, you'll do fine!

I think it may improve your shooting. To me it would seem youed have to wait until the animals legs is foreword draw rember your form and still make a good shot. But then again ive never done it but id like to my friend said it was a blast.

It is not he same shot over and over. Same distance but total differnt animals and ya can kneel, shoot around an old chair, even shoot out of ablind. The only problem I had was that is it very dark and it played with my depth perception. I shot only 170 or something but I missed the first 6 targets, everything was high. I shot 178 the other night lefthaned and missed only two, I had to pick a spot real low of wher I wanted to hit. Shawn

It's no different than stump shooting different sized targets at the same range.

I've enjoyed it the few times I've had the chance to shoot it...

I agree with the above,,won't mess ya up at all,  have fun,, Once I was at the local techno hunt and a stranger,, compound shootin fella was going to wait and I said come on in and lets shoot. Not knowing this fella at all, we shot and had a blast,, at first I was actually shooting better than him,, and I heard,," well I'm gonna have to step it up" I chuckled a bit and then well the inevidable happened,, he took me in score but I think he walked away with a better apreciation about traditional bows,, We see each other every now and then up at the store and still talk for a bit,,Fun stuff,,

Seth, I don't think it'll mess you up any. The thing I have to tell myself is don't lead animals that are moving. If you lead them in this game you will shoot in front of them as they really aren't moving. That may be the only way I can see it will goof up your shooting.
I'm going to leave in about 30 minutes to shoot tonight. It's a blast you'll enjoy it. Frank
