Jason,
Contact Jim Neeves at Centaurarchery@yahoo.com, he most likely has something or can point you in the right direction and he is up in your neck of the woods. Great guy.

I have several Red Elm strips already sawed . They will run 6 foot long on down. They are from 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick and will be around 2 inches wide. If interested e-mail me at marlow@adams.net. Dean
There has been some red elm boards for lams on the big auction site lately.
Thanks for the info guys...
Happy hunting,
Jason
Definitely get a hold of Dean Marlow. He's a great guy and he'll treat you right. Matt
I second Dean , great guy to deal with and knows the difference between good wood and bad.
Pine Hollow Longbows has staves, boards and lams of red elm. This is a great place as they have several alternate bow woods check out there web site, you will not be disapointed.
Currently trying to find time to finish D/R boo backed ipe. Shooting a boo backed maple stick and a hickory pyramid selfbow.
