Title: acrylic enamel
Post by: JBiorn on November 12, 2007, 05:05:00 PM
Hey, I was thinking I had a great idea when I got some silver acrylic enamel for painting arras. Well, they look lovely, however when I go to fletch them, the Duco just eats the paint away. And if I try and apply a coat of Poly---it eats the paint away, too.

Dang, do I just need to use different spray paint? Or is there another solution?  :knothead:

Your probably not waiting long enough for drying time.
when painting autos you need to put the coats on quick enough. If you waite to long between coats you will get a wrinkle finish. Been there done that! You will need to waite a week or 2 before applying glue to finnish.
