Your alignment looks good.....just make sure you bend at the waist on those down hill shots...and don't just lower your bow arm.

What Terry said...

I am a newer trad shooter as well (a lil over 3 1/2 yrs).

But even in the training wheel realm, the basic rules of  form are somewhat the same... Aim for a "T" of the torso and arms and bend at the waist as Terry said (and looking at his form videos, now he can shoot!)... Or once you shoot down from a treestand and drop that arm, you're going to shoot high everytime... even with a sight..( its a trigonometry thing, and I don't wanna go there...)

Exactly what Terry said. You basic "t" is off when you are shooting downward.

Nothing wrong with your drawing elbow. Looks like you may be turning your bow elbow in (toward you) a little.  Try rotating that elbow out a little to put a slight bend in your bow arm.  That could be why you're having trouble getting to anchor and looks like it is causing the bow to twist in your hand at release.

Thanks I was wondering if my arm should be bent would I lose an inch of draw too?

Straightening out the bow arm too much will cause you to stop pushing.  When you stop pushing, you stop pulling, which is probably causing your anchor woes. It's not that you have to have a bend.  It's more that you don't want to run out of room to push.  Turn the elbow out some and you are less likely to have that happen. It will not shorten your draw because you will be pulling more.
