-
I ment 131. Not 12. Thx.

Pat, Are you asking about 231 or 131? I've hunted 231 a couple times many years ago. If you are talking 231 there are other ways in to it.

If you hear bells or sheep baaing, move far away, if you see where the sheep have been through all ready, move far far away till you don't see or hear sheep!

Been year and a half since I been in that area and wasn't in there long, but a bear tag and a deer tag would be a good idea in my opinion if you have the coin!

call the usfs in Yampa. talk to the wildlife biologist. Find out when the sheep have to be out of high country.
-
Thx elk, goat did you see bear up there,?ill call about the sheep, good tip..thx fellas.

seen bear sign, friends seen the bears, makes no difference to those ranchers when they are supposed to have the sheep out, came straight from one of thems mouth, it's cheaper to pay the fine for grazing to long than to feed the sheep! There's lots of elk in that area, biggest herd in the state, just stay away from the sheep.

Sheep are often on NF right into October.
