Title: Kids Arrows for my 3 year old
Post by: Gator1 on November 08, 2007, 10:18:00 AM
I have a 6-7lb crib bow coming for my soon to be 3 year old daughter.  Gerry Feigl from Northwind's little longbow.

Question, I'm thinking of fletching up some arrows from Dowels, any other ideas, tips on points etc????

Thank you for any help or ideas...

Any home made stains for "pink arrows" you guys have ideas on???

Dennis at Git-r-done (sponser) has 1/4" points and nocks for kids arrows. To get pink shafts I used to use icing dye. If you go to your local craft store ask them if they carry the Wilton icing gel, mix a good amount with water and apply with a foam brush use several coats to get desired colour and then seal.

1/4" points and nocks you can get from Kustom King. As for stains you could go with a light or medium wood grain and pink cap dip or white cap dip with pink cresting.
