Title: Good repair/restoration places in Missouri?
Post by: RevJM on January 10, 2018, 01:53:00 PM
Hey all,
Not sure if this is the right spot to ask the question, but I'm looking to find a good bowyer/bow shop around the Northeastern part of Missouri (if possible, will go further if needed) who could take a look at a vintage Bear Kodiak Magnum that I purchased from a seller on **** who was less than honest in his product description.  There's a significant gouge in the fiberglass on the upper limb so I'm afraid to even *think* about stringing it until I get it properly restored.  It's a beautiful bow and I'd love to get it up and running, but I don't know the first thing about trying to fix it myself.

I know that the Bow Hospital is highly recommended on this forum and I'm planning to get in touch with them to get an estimate, but I wanted to see if there was someone closer perhaps that I wouldn't have to worry about shipping my injured baby off and trusting her in the hands of UPS/FedEx.

Thanks for the help!

Rev. Joel

Yeah, the best and only one that comes to mind is the Bow Hospital.
