Title: Grocery shopping with pics
Post by: kennym on November 25, 2017, 10:13:00 AM: My niece asked if I could get her a couple deer for hamburger, they have 4 kids.

So this morn , I went to a stand along the little creek thru bro's farm that we hunt during the rut because it is between 2 bedding areas.

About sunup I see a deer a hundred yards out heading for my pinch point. I'm looking with binos and another one pops out from behind a big locust tree at 40 yards, startled me! LOL

So now I have a little case of doe fever, heart rate is up and a little shaky. She comes on slowly and stops out out in front at about 18 yards. I shoot and it looks high, she bounds 30 yards to the field edge South and looks back.

Now I'm POed at myself for missing, then she shuffles sideways and falls over. WOW! Really happen? Yup, she went down at the field edge where I can drive right to her with the truck!

My lucky rabbit has got to be out of feet. :bigsmyl:
