Kelly and I are setting a room up as my den, it is not done yet, but it is started!! Cedar on 2 walls and shelves are still to be added along with a small couch and a couple of more "manly" chairs..lol ;)
The other pics are of my newly set-up "Man-Cave"...everything I need is down there, even a 17 yard range! :) A 4'x8'workbench with storage underneath and a pegboard along with "hanger nails"appoint it nicely.

I definitely like the cave more than the den!!

Sweet!!!
Yeah, the den is still not quite there...after Christmas, with the cedar-board walls, new furniture and the pine shelves it will be wayyyy cooler!
I like the cave too. Beer fridge is very handy :)

The only thing I see missing from the cave is a crock pot full of 5 alarm chili to keep you warm now that we are back to near freezing temps.
Looks like you have the same backing behind your target to stop errant arrows... concrete foundation wall!!
Nice. :notworthy:
WOW I need to get me one of those!
Very manly indeed... all ya need is recurve.. :)
a Re-What????? ;) :)

Cool Beans
Man cave's are awesome....
I like the cave as well but the den has potential  . Need to lose the lacy stuff on the windows though :p .
lol,,,,funny I was just saying that to Kelly this afternoon !! ;)
The chair in the first picture of the den is WAY too nice for any of my buddies to sit on. I would go with maybe a stump instead...
Your cave is very similar to mine.Just dont shoot that water heater.
Both Den and Cave are Very Nice!! You ARE a Lucky Man!! :saywhat:
sweet,i wish i had one. :notworthy:
The only thing missing is the vintage 1977 poster of Farrah Fawcet-Majors posing in a bathing suit!!!
NICE set-up!!!
very cool !!!!
All the goods but only 1 bow and no recurve
I am jealous of your cave :notworthy:
nice set up!
Nice, I'm jealous!
I sure miss my basement. Nice - the 'Cave gets my vote!
Cool setup indeed,I think Lucky Dog might stick afterall. :archer:
Its time to hibernate.
A "Den" is where you go to cuddle up with "Momma Bear".....
A "Cave" is where Papa Bear goes Momma Bear gets "Ornery" LOL :bigsmyl:
(I gotta fix me up a "Cave")
Woodchucker...you are truly a "man of wisdom!"
That's better than nice! That's some collection of bows too.
I'm building a new home in Georgia and have puposely dedicated two areas to testesterone rich environments. I have what my wife calls the "man room" over the garage and a 15 yd shooting range on the lower level. Should be in in it by May. I get 700 sq.ft...she gets theother 5000+ :scared:
Hi Cary
It's looking real nice Im sure the den will be something to see when you get done.Is that a picture of last years bunny hunt on the wall next to your bow rack?I think I know some of that motly outfit :campfire: .
Down in the man cave it looks like your work bench is where the big chest freezer used to be?
It's good to see things are falling into place for you and I look forward to seeing some pics of deer should the goddess of the hunt smile on you.Frank seems to be setting the pace for us Ont. boys(I think it's cause he can sneak in under the deers radar).Say hi to Kelly for me ,
good health and good hunting
Gary
Hey Cary,, Looking real good,,
Gary,, being bald also helps keep my scent down as well I find a lot of sheds because I'm closer to the ground,,LOL,, You guys are due to score soon,, All the best ,,Frank
You lucky dog!
N-i-c-e!!!
Better not flinch and send an arrow into the hot water heater next to the shooting range! That is a very nice setup you have there. I can see you standing next to fireplace thawing out the bones after a day in the woods, reflecting on the days events.
Nawwwwww, the pic makes it look closer than it is to the target...lol:)
And yep, this Dec. I'll be sitting by the fire enjoying a beverage with buddies, discussing the days hunt!

I have a room in the basement called "The Estrogen Free Zone".
It's just me, the spiders, and the water heater. I have all my bows and arrows displayed above a work table that is usually crammed with fletching jigs, books, magazines, etc. On a shelf I have a stereo, antlers, and some skulls. Liquid refreshment is within easy reach too. :)
The Zone is where I head when my wife and daughters watch Lifetime movies or home decorating programs.
Cool!
