I just noticed this spot on the bottom of the riser. The bow is new to me but more then a couple years old. I have an email to the maker but was wondering what y'all thought of the spot? I can catch it with my fingernail. It's my favorite bow to date so I hop this isn't the start of the end! Thanks for any comments.

Looks like the bolt is too long or the hole too shallow and the bolt is pressuring the lamination apart. I would definately put an extra washer under the bezel string and check it out under pressure. I take it that is a top mount limb and that is why I say bolt. Compression alone on a top mount limb would very rarely cause this.
God bless and good luck, You could drill deep enough to catch that lamination from the flat side of the riser toward the end and countersink a stainless wood screw with epoxy for a fix. God bless, Steve
The maker has said to send it in so he can take a look at it. Thanks for the info Steve. I really hope he can get this thing fixed up as it's my favorite to date.
Sent you a PM.
