So I have been playing with the "fixed creep" method shown in The Push film. I like it so far but I cannot bare shaft tune. I have no fishtailing but cant get it to not shoot nock low. Now it occurred to me that this method causes more stress on the lower limb and thats likely why. I threw my broadheads on and was hitting my spots. Will this eventually damage my bow or maybe start to effect accuracy at longer ranges. I shot at 30yds (further than my 20 yd hunting max) and was still keeping the same groups I shoot with field points. I have heard guys say they dont bareshaft cuz it doesnt matter. I never gave it any thought until i saw it today. Thoughts or experiences?
I assume you do not have an ILF bow? I played around with it as well but could not deal with the horrible noise differance having a bolt down bow. I ended up changing my anchor to a higher one and got a 35 m point on. Aim for belly for 30 m and instinctive out to 25 m. Tricky thing is between 25-30 m.

What is your bows tiller?
Is fixed creep different from fixed crawl? If not, your nock point might need adjustment. Changes your point-on distance, too, of course, but still may be needed. Be sure to use two nock points so your arrow doesn't slip down the string at the shot.
One of the tough things for me tuning a fixed crawl is finding the correct balance of nock height and crawl distance, as you change one the other seems to need adjusting if you can not adjust tiller. Keep playing with the adjustments and don't be afraid to raise your nock point more than you may think. My tune is for a slight nock high as crawl is shorter so bow is quieter. Broadheads fly fine. yes i use 2 nock points and i have been trying to move both the nocking arrow nocking points and my draw point...just keep getting a nock low...i am about go to a significantly higher FOC arrow anyways so im not going to worry. I have opening day a week from today and my BHs are hitting my spots. Just like tinkering and understanding my bow. Thanks all!
