I have a very nice new BCY X string for my bow.
I spoke with the fella who made it (Daniel of Hunters Choice Bowstrings) and it's "served" for a "Gold-Tip" nock. They fit the little carbon arrows i shoot with the 35lb limbs perfectly.
However, I also put 60lb limbs on my riser to shoot XX75 2117 arrows for hunting.
Unfortunately the 2117s don't grip the string at all.
I'll need to replace the 2117s soon as i only have 3 and they're bent pretty bad despite my efforts at straightening them.
How can i make 2117s work with my string?!?
You can buy nocks of the same throat size as the GTs.
Will you be getting swaged shafts (for glue-on nocks) or shafts that accept press-in nocks (uni-bushing adapter)?
Once you determine that, your nock choice should be easier.

Just wrap a very short part of your string with something like dental floss. I have done it many times, and it works just fine. When it frays, simply replace the wrapping and keep on shooting.

Thanks Bud!
For simplicity (at least for now), i was hoping to get swaged xx75s 2117s with the glue on nocks.
However, i will probably have to figure another way because the standard glue-on nocks seem too large for my serving.
