Title: Wichita, KS Area??
Post by: ShooterMcGavin on June 07, 2017, 10:05:00 AM
Hey everyone,

New guy here, just switched over from a compound about a month ago. So far I am loving it! Was wondering if there was anyone else for around Wichita, KS?

Yes I am.
I shoot at Wichita Archery Inc. - Outdoor club, several times a week.

Best deal in town - $45 for annual membership. Has a  target range, Field archery range and some beatup 3d's scattered in the woods for us to practice on.

Awesome! I used to have a membership there a while back, I see they went up in price. I remember a few trad guys shooting when I was there. Might have to check it out again and get a membership.

Good to hear! I need to meet up with some local trad guys and shoot with them. Then I can picks brains on form and gear. Also when I decide to move away from my current/starter bow and get a new one I am going to really have to picks brains on arrow setup/tuning. That's a whole new world that I have very little knowledge in. Been reading a lot and listening to podcasts to try and gain some knowledge but I'm more of a hands on or visual guy.
