Anyone of you has compared those 2 arrows yet.
Thanks for your advice.

I have not compared them, but I do shoot the 5MM FMJ's. The 5MM shafts are very tough and durable. I would think they both would have that quality though. I am a hunter, and I like the skinnier shaft for hunting. I went from a 5/16" carbon shaft to the 5MM shafts, and have seen a noticeable higher amount of complete passthrus with the skinnier shaft.

I shoot the 5MM FMJ and the even skinnier Deep Six shafts now.

I like the Deep Six except field points and broad heads are difficult to find with those threads. Although I have about 100 special made, 155 grain field points for the arrow and the Helix broadhead I shoot has ferrules in that thread I can swap out.

Not much of a difference other then diameter and some Spine deflection. Your 400 spine arrow is now a 390 spine in the 6mm. No HIT system in the 6mm the inserts will mount flush to the shaft.
I am shooting both and really don't see a difference between the two out to 25-30 yards

Great arrows and I wouldn't hesitate buying or shooting either one. I will say the 6mm are cheaper and quality is just as good

Just picked up a half dozen of the retro Autumn Orange 6mm. Haven't had a chance to fletch them up yet, but they sure look good!

I don't think there are brass inserts for the 6MM shafts yet are there?

The 6mm shafts are your standard H nock and they make a 50-75 grain insert for them
Love the FMJ autumn orange shafts

I used the 5mm fmj for a four of seasons including several big animals in Africa.  tough, good arrow-period.  Autumn orange being my favorite alum shaft ever, I jumped on some of the new ones.  Frankly, I see no difference on the practice range....different diameters are always a bit if an adjustment.

Easton makes them, several sponsors sell them.
