Post by: PeteTschantz on January 26, 2007, 01:39:00 PM
would this be an appropriate weight/design on 1916's out of a 40#@28 recurve (drawn 29")?

thanks, Pete

Should be OK- depending on the weight of your adaptor you could be a tad stiff, but nothing serious.

Zwickey makes fine heads, and are easy to sharpen.

should I look at the 170 Diamond BH instead? or would that be too heavy. I'm just using the adapters that came with the shafts.

I'd go with Eskilites myself- not a fan of the "as heavy as possible" theory.

Your talking about 35 grains correct?

135 vs 170?...a 35 grain difference.....

Shoot which ever one flies the best.
