Spend the extra for the GPS.
The maps make it look simple...but there are many MANY round abouts waiting to mess ya up.

HAVE A GREAT TIME!

Having lived in the uk ......You'll be mostly disappointed in the shops over there.  Mostly geared towards target archery, they dislike us colonials and don't like our opinions and tendancy to think about new ideas.  Mentioning hunting with a bow will probably get you put in the "idiot list" pretty fast.  It's best to drink local beer and steep yourself in history instead of thinking about archery.

Definitely been enjoying the beer and food. Saw some red stag today. About 45 of them. Thought they were tame until I stopped the car and got out. They took off immediately. Beautiful country and super friendly people.

Wife and I went over for our 25th anniversary with our bicycles. We self contained toured the island doing 450 miles in two weeks so we saw it at about 12 miles an hour for the most part.  The island is one big rock and I think a bit tough on arrows, lol.

The people were fantastic with us and they knew we were yanks when they heard us speak. Asked us loads of questions about America.  One teenage clerk in a market asked me to describe what a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was, lol  I didn't noticed any archery shops over there but really wasn't looking that hard at the time.

I'm heading to Ireland in late June with my wife. I'm going to see about swinging by an archery shop or two when in Dublin at least. Would love to do some hiking if we have the time.
