Title: Switching to three fingers under
Post by: SS Snuffer on April 10, 2017, 08:19:00 PM
I decided to switch to shoot three under. My bow is a little louder and I have moved my nock up about a half inch. I was thinking of trying a Bear weather rest witch will raise the nock more yet do you guys think this will cause problems? When shooting off the shelf I always had trouble when wearing gloves in the winter, maybe this will cure that problem also.
Thanks for your input
Chuck

Think quite a few folks have successfully used a raised rest when switching to 3 under...

Will confess to having clearance issues with wearing glommit/flipback type gloves while shooting my Montana off the shelf in winter.  No issue with recurves off the shelf.

If you were shooting split finger and your bow was quite and stable I would think that moving it up a half inch so or be to much.
