I'm looking for a link to a plastic seat that has some design features like the Nif-T-Seat. I did a search here but couldn't find anything on it. I think it is made in Canada.

Hey Pete any idea of the load bearing capacity of that folding spike seat? They don't say on the website. Will it hold a Big Overfed Farmboy like me and a few other in the gang I could mention?
I like my homemade seat.

I have a swivel seat on top of a 7 gallon bucket. It's just the right height. The bucket holds field dressing stuff and whatever else you may need. I was thinking of adapting a nice boat seat to it though.
I have to use a big blind for my longbow, which leaves me room for a nice, big, comfortable folding chair. I can't handle sitting on one of those little stools that won't support more than one butt cheek at a time, at least not for more than a couple of hours. When I go, I like to stay a while, and the best way for me to do that is take a comfortable seat.
I got mine (oversized folding chair) at Sam's for less than $20. So far this year, I've killed a deer, a fox, a raccoon, and a squirrel sitting in it.
It doesn't have to be camo, especially in a blind. Mine is maroon and grey. 'Course I killed the deer wearing shorts, t-shirt, and sneakers (it was dang hot). Really starting to like these ground blinds! (mine is the Ameristep Penthouse)
