I went to a trad shoot at west caln this past weekend. It was hosted by the pennsylvania longbow association. Along with the 3d shoot they had what they called a muzzy shoot. They took two quart plastic bottles and stuffed them with foam and hung them in trees low to the ground. There were a lot of tight shots and you used judos to shoot them. It was an absolute blast!
It was the coolest shoot I've ever attended.
Sounds like a good time.
I use foam balls the size of tennis balls. Suspend on a string anywhere ! Cheap and fun.
Sounds like a good time .
Sounds like fun but, if you want to see the real Muzzy shoot, come to it in August, I its in the Catskills of NY.. Keep your eyes open here because it's by invitation only.
Be careful using wood arrows, I have shot tennis balls hanging and broke wooden arrows.
You will love the real Muzzy shoot then. Sometime in May the applications go out. I always make a pdf of mine and send it to people that want a copy. It's my favorite shoot since the people are great, shots are amazing and the course is beautiful.
Just Like Mint Said!
