I need the experience of the Tradgand...which penetrates better (in your EXPERIENCE)...A 2-blade Zwickey Delta, a 4-blade Zwickey Eskimo or a 3-blade Woodsman. I'm not trying to reopen the which is better 2,3,or 4 blade; what I need help with is which one have you EXPERIENCED the best penetration with?(esp. with bows in the 45 to 50 pound range) I had a "bad" experience the other day hunting and I need to "tap" into the Tradgangers info pool. Thanks
2 blade for penetration all other things being equal...
Agreed, 2 blades for sure.
2 blade
2 blade
long narrow 2 blade
2 blade
What they ^ all said!!
yup 2 blade
as said 2 blade...curtis
All my personal experience is that on deer, hogs(even really big ones) and bears Wensels will get you a clear pass through. If both a two and a three blade BOTH shoot all the way through did one really penetrate better? Before someone brings up striking bone...first if you hit heavy bone NO broadhead from most bows shot will get through. Second I've never seen a rib or the thin part of the scapula stop any broadhead from killing an animal. I'm not saying a 2 blade doesn't penetrate better what I am saying is the difference as pertains to a wensel woodsman on a properly tuned arrow is negligable.
2 blade, as said above>>>
