Title: Easton Legacy

I have a question about the Easton Legacy shafts. In the past I've ordered Camo Hunter for my son and Jazz for my wife and both of those shafts were dead straight. I've been wanting to experiment with aluminum shafts for my self so I recently ordered the Legacy shafts. My question is these shafts are not nearly as straight. And at the point end there are two little nicks that range from 3/8-5/8 of an inch on all of the shafts. I presume this is from the swage process. But these shafts are slightly bent about the last 2-3 inches of the point end shaft.
I'm wondering is this normal and I need to straighten them myself?

Post by: crazynate on March 16, 2017, 11:42:00 AM: That doesn't seem normal to me. I shoot legacys a lot and they always have tight tolerances. Sounds like a quality control issue from Easton.

Post by: 58WINTERS on March 19, 2017, 12:16:00 PM: Is it the point end that is swaged? If it is then you are probably correct. To my knowledge Easton has never offered a swaged pont taper. I never had the problem you are describing.
This is not normal return them in either case.
