Looking for opinions of the GN lil creep longbow. Good are bad. Did a search found some info, fishing for more.
I had one and it was a terrific little bow. It drew smooth until 28.5-29", and the string angle was not obscenely acute. Snappy too- a quick little bow that was a joy to carry. Sometimes I am sorry that I sold it, but I am happy to have taken it hunting for a few seasons.
It's my favorite bow. Very quiet and shoots around 175ish fps with an 8.5 grain per pound arrow. I really like the jack knife takedown option with the locator grip. It makes the grip very consistent. As far as how it works with a longer draw I can't comment. I pull to 28" with no issues. Very well made at a good price.
My grandson got one last year and I have shot it several times and really like it. Very smooth, fast and quiet.
Thanks guys. are they a quiet bow?
anymore?
Oh, never mind....I thought you'd met my wife!!

I've had my eye on these too. From what I've read on its quietness and smoothness as well as it's shape and lines when strung/unstrung it seems very much like a mini bear Montana. I've often wondered why no one has made a compact Montana. I love shooting mine and can only imagine what the lil' creep would be like in hand, especially being 6" shorter!! I think I need one.lol
My favorite bow to shoot right now and will be my go-to this season. It's light and quick and most importantly accurate and forgiving. Seems to like a wide range of spines since I quickly found a set up that tuned perfectly. Really nothing not to like about it.

What's your specs and setup if u don't mind Me asking.
Love mine; have two Jackknife Creeps. Had pretty much decided to use a GN Ghost this year for turkey, but shot the Creep today, and am not sure anymore. Seems like I get the shot off quicker with the Creep, with no loss of accuracy out to 25 yards. FYI, 47# @ 26", 55-57# tapered POC cut to 27" with 145 heads fly great for me.
58#@28"....I'm drawing 27"....shooting 30" gold tip 400s with 100 grain brass inserts and 200 grain tips....bare shafts perfectly

Mine is here. :jumper: Old School green glass, Jade green riser, textured green leather wrapped index grip, 56@28. Shot it a few times, smooth, quiet and surprisingly quick. I didn't expect it to be so snappy. What quiver you that have one like on yours? Sure feels good without one.
The only quiver for a Great Northern is a Great Northern :goldtooth:

It was a stock bow. Wife and daughter say it's ugly, I think it's purty.
Feels great without a quiver but a Great Northern strap on makes it feel even better....congrats on the new bow
Oh well can't please everyone!lol Just something about that green. Seems like you either love it or hate it and not much in between. Hope you enjoy it, can't wait to get my hands on one!
I ordered a "Lil Creep on fri. 50# @28, locator grip, jack-knife take down system in "Pure Michigan Green". I might go crazy before it gets here.
