Anyone out there no the riser depth of a Tall Tines Stickflinger? I've got a 43lber 62" long and assuming my elbow gets better I would like to start playing with some efoc arrows. It seems the riser depth is important. Or if anyone can explain how to measure that would be helpful as well .

Do you mean how far it is center cut?
-
Yes I do

I think most people eyeball it by visually centering the string on the middle of the limbs and then check where the riser is in relation to the string.
I suppose you could put a mark on the shelf and measure that.
If you look on Tall Tines Web page it lists what his standard is.

Thanks for the tip. I've checked his site at least a half dozen times and either I've over looked it or it's not there.

If you have a specific question about anything, I've found it best to call and ask. This way you get it straight from the manufacturer.
-
Best thing is just yo. Measure it in your bow.

Well, I give measuring it myself a whirl. I taped a white piece of thread through the center of my limb bolts. Then I line the thread up with my string. With the thread and string in Alignment I came up with an 1/8" cut past center measurement. Hopefully this is correct! Lol

Sorry,
I looked under recurve and it listed 1/8" past center. I assumed he would list it for the stickflinger as well.
Brian has been good to respond to my texts or email.

I think there is a little wiggle room, but mine is around 1/8" past center as well, but just a touch less than my TallTines recurve.
-
Actually, I just remeasured, and if you exclude the sideplate, my recurve is around cut 3/16" past center and my Stickflinger is around 1/8" past center.

Good deal! Thanks for the help
