Congrats!!!
:bigsmyl:
Well done!
Awesome, good deal!
Good for you young man. Is that an average size goat? Are you thinking of trying for one of those scrub bulls or water buffalo?

Would love a scrub bull, buff and camel but we got our fallow deer season kicking off. Aim is to spot and stalk at least one deer this year. Probably get a few pigs and goats plus small game as well. In the end of the month I got a few days deer hunting so excited. The goat is rather small nanny... not for the wall but tasty in the oven.
Thats awesome Mr. Lundin! I bet a young nanny is mighty tasty. I'll be following your thread closely. We need lots more young folks like yourself in this endeavor. Good luck!
way to go
Way to get it started , look forward to seeing more .

I am currenently waiting for a new Dryad Orion (bought on Black Friday sale) but for now I am shooting my fiancées recurve. It's a Dryad Orion ACS RC at #54@28" and a 680 grain Gold tip. I had some 300 spine arrows so loaded it up to spine it for the bow. Ended up with 360 grain plus insert up front. Broadheads is a Magnus classical with steel insert.
Hopefully i will get my own bow soon as our rut is only a couple of weeks away.
It appears the plan is in place!.
Quick Update: Weekend hunt . Went to shoot some rabbits in a horse paddock as they dig burrows which can hurt the horses.
Cleaned them up and gave them to the owners as they never had rabbits. I kept the hides and will attempt to tan them at a later stage.
Very cool
Congrats. Good looking critters
Updated, first trad deer shot.
I see your new bow has finally arrived. Any plans to hunt it soon?

Yes, planning to tune some arrows with it this weekend then I got a public land hunt the following weekend. We got the back end of the fallow rut still. Hopefully I can drop another one before the quiet down. Love the riser combo. Haven't shot it yet though.
Nice congrats!
First pig with the recurve

Thanks for posting these! I wish more people would post their harvests I really enjoy seeing them?
Congratulations on a great start with trad gear. Yes, keep us posted as the year progresses.
Awesome start, congratulations! It took me a good year of hard hunting to connect with my first head of game.
On another note I can see the first set of pics, but not the last pig... anybody else struggling with that?
Looks like you are well on your way to a bumper season!
I only see the first set of pics as well....
Should be 4 pictures and a video Vimeo link.
