I found a wooden arrow mixed in with a bunch of other shafts, and after shooting it ,I was taken aback on just how the arrow flew each and every time. It was right there ,if you know what mean. It flew to quote "like a dart". I have no spine tester and was wondering if theres a way to spine test this shaft without one. Some old secret method perhaps
Thank you
Put 2 nails 26" apart in the side of your work bench. Lay your arrow across the 2 nails, hang a 2# weight in the middle and mark the deflection. Now compare your other arrows to this one using the same method. Less deflection means a stiffer arrow spine, more means lighter spine.
