Title: Using camo wrap on limbs question
Post by: dagwood64 on March 04, 2017, 11:13:00 AM
Has anyone used the clinging camo wraps on their limbs? How well did it work, and should I apply it on the limbs strung or unstrung?

I am not sure if you're referring to just camo tape, or something like a limbsation from Onestringer.  If you havent checked out that option, I would!  They have some INCREDIBLE products.

you can google search one stringer arrow wraps and then click on limbsations. they have a ton  of different designs including camo patterns(many that you'll never find on tape) snake skin, etc.

Hope this helps,

Daniel

I put some camo vet wrap on my bow limbs a couple days ago to keep them from getting scratched up,.

so far so good.... bow doesn't seem any slower to me, and the vet wrap is holding tight.

Daniel- I will look into them thanks. I was referring to the wraps that cling, but do not leave a sticky residue if you remove them.

Longtoke- Thanks for the input. Is yours a take down bow? If so do you put it between the limb and the riser, to hold it down?

I think the vet wrap is pretty much what you are talking about, its not a 3 piece bow, but I dont think you would need to put it under the limb to keep it in place.  it sticks to itself really well, I just tucked the end underneath itself..
