I'm looking for a new longbow. I was looking at the Bear Ausable but the Wagstaff bows really caught my eye. And the price is not reallly much different.
A little conflicted. Have always owned production and brand names bows. Mostly Bear but a couple Pearsons and a Black Hawk that was my grandfathers that I still have.
Can't hurt to try one but would be nice if you could catch them at an event to try before you buy!
they will all shoot an arrow...i guess it all depends on your budget and if pride of ownership means alot to ya, good luck with your choice
Anyone have a Wagstaff bow?
I like my custom bow(s) and my factory bow plenty. I enjoy them all. My Hoyt Buffalo shoots as good as anything, but my 2 bows that I've custom ordered mean more because they commemorate a special event. I bought a Black Widow PCH as well, it was used and was custom ordered, but to me it is just another good shooter.
If a production bow fits your specifications then get it....
Kinda nice to order what ya want also....
Im no longbow expert but I just picked up a Toelke Whip a few weeks ago that is a great shooter.
I do not own one, but I have shot a few Wagstaff bows and the shoot pretty much as good as they look! No one can tell you what you are going to like in a bow except you!
Bisch
I really want something that is unique for me. Something that in 20 years I will look at and have memories and pass me it on but also I want and like the fact that it is made to my specs rather than a general fit to anyone. So I ordered a Wagstaff Pendencia. I'm stoked!

Congrats!! I've never shot one but they're beautiful bows.
Valkyrie- I just looked at their website; I suggest you practice backflips for when your bow arrives. What are the specifications?
