My 62" hybrid (reflex/deflex) Damon Howatt Savannah needs a new string. So I ordered at 59". However, it's to long... The bow does not have barely any tension on it at all when strung. Pictures are attached... Idk if I should order a 57" to take in the fact of stretching or if I should order a 58"?? The picture of

Measure the old string and order one like that. I would twist that new one shorter myself, and use it.

If you order a string from one of our stringmaker sponsors, they will prestretch it to the length you want. So if you want a 58" string, order a 58" string. In most cases, the same is true if you order a string from some archery supply company. Probably if you order a 58" string, they will send you a 57" string that will stretch to 58", but there are no guarantees. Strings are not that expensive. Treat yourself to the best and order from one of our sponsors.
Who do y'all recommend for a b-50 Flemish twist?

HCB Bowstrings, Ten Ring Strings, SBD Bowstrings are all site sponsors. If there is not too much twist in the new string, I would twist it up some and try it. If it is indeed too long, I would order another new string from any of those listed above, but use the actual length of my old bowstring to order. Also, talk to whomever you order from, and they will tell you how they want you to measure it.

When I make a string for a bow of mine I like to measure the actual nock to nock length.I have and had quite a few Savannah's.I had one I made a string for and was too long,I thought I made a mistake and put jig pin in the wrong hole.It was right,I measured the Savannah and it was 60" nock to nock length.It was a couple of inches shorter then my other Savannah's.It looked the same as my other Savannah's as far as limb and tips.It was either done at the factory or a factory repair or they made a mistake when constructing the bow.It was if I remember a 60# Savannah.
I`d just make a few twists in the string.
If your brace height is still good afterwards, you`re good to go.
Sounds good guys. Talked to 3 rivers and they said it needed to be twisted so I did and it's good to go now. Think I'm going to order a custom just to play with one.
Next time around, Jessebeaux, I will add to the suggestions to talk to one, or some, of the sponsors named here, and get a custom made string from a dedicated stringmaker.
If a few twists gets you where you need to be for brace height, all's (probably) good. If you have to turn a bunch of twists... maybe not quite so much.
As McDave says (as usual), do yourself a favor and get strings from a stringmaker.
