Just took a moment to photograph a diligent day on the range. It began with bareshafting. Then, confirming those results on the outdoor range, on spot targets. Then, shooting the (15) 3-D targets, left out during the winter. I love this trad life!

I feel like we, traditional archers, hold the keys to archery nirvana and most of the archery world has no clue!
What say you brothers & sisters of the single string life?

Close to concupisense, but not quite there! Lol
I remember back in the '80's, when I was trying to become a golfer, how much it cost to belong to a country club. Because of that, I feel a little guilty when I pay my dues to my archery club, so I always add in a little extra. Can you imagine ever doing that for country club dues?

You're right, Ron. My trad love has expanded to recurves now. LOL.
McDave, Great idea to give a little extra back to you home range.
Great pic there! Thank you to Friend for expanding my vocabulary today too! Lol!
I go back and forth myself.......just to much fun.
My that shadow is slim! I'm not sure what that big c word ya'll are using. But it sure is fun for me.

I agree; even backyard bale shooting puts my mind in a better place.
i'm assuming that is an ILF set up. If so, which one?
I am really wanting some longbow ILF limbs to "complete my collection".

You're correct, sir. This bow is a Gillo G1 (25") riser with a Jager grip. The limbs are Win & Win RCX100. Bow shoots like a dream! Send me a PM if you want pics of the bow.
Shame on you, one of those nasty metal risers, brrrr!

:biglaugh: I know, right? I love all things archery, from beautiful wood bows to high tech ILF bows.
