Hoping to see pics of bows with Mango veneers...and what riser wood you chose to compliment them. I was thinking Wenge riser...and know that combo looks great. But looking to see others as well.
Mango will be going on a Javaman Elkheart in a few weeks.
I'm having a Kingfisher made by Chad Holm. It's going to have a chechen and ebony riser with mango veneers. I should have it in around three weeks. I'll post some pictures when I get it.
Talk with Dan Toelke. He had some on his stock bow page with Mango.

Already have some gorgeous spalted mango veneers from Curt. Was hoping to see pics in hopes of nailing down a riser wood.
Here's some mango madness I'm just finishing up today. I don't normally have mango, the customer had the veneers and he sent them to me. (Things like that have happened a few time)

Thanks, but I just put it together and took the rasp and sand paper to it, the wood was made by God, and made into veneers by someone else (Idahocurt I think)

Everytime I cut into a nice piece of wood I think of this. It is the glory of God to hide a thing and the honor of kings to search out a matter.

looks like tiger maple stained brown?
Here is my Big Jim recurve in mango.The riser is Koa and a dark ebony.I have a buffalo that matches this one with only a Koa riser,both are decked out in moose horn.
