I am in the process of reading a book I grab when visiting Big Jim: The American Feral Hog by Tom Kidwell.
This is the period of the year where hog hunting gets all the attention, so this is a great read.

I read a book of his the other day and enjoyed it very much. I don't hunt feral hogs but I may get the book anyway.

By far,the best hog hunting book I've read. If you want to really know hogs and their history in the US, the book is a must read!

x2.
Hands down the most informative book I've ever found on the subject. I recommend this to everyone who says they want to hunt hogs!

I agree, a very entertaining and informative book. One of the more interesting (to me) historical tidbits in the book, was the role that the hog played in naming "Wall St." in NYC....
