I figured after the Kzoo show alot of the bowyers might have some of their bows listed for sale..... particuarly ASL's with green glass.... none to be found in the 45-53lb range. Green Glass Matters
There is a Green Hill style on the classifieds right now.......Jet, the Bison model.
There is a 7 Lakes with green glass in your weight range on big auction site right now.
Kimsha has some green bows. Look through this thread.

Thanks Ill check them out. Just missed out on a HHA Wesley with green glass
I have a green and white one coming, but it's mine and you can't have it.
The only two things I like more than green glass are osage or yew bows.....
I just put one up on the sponsor classifieds with green glass.
I've been getting an itch for a green glass bow. I really want to get a couple great northern in my hands to see how I like them, but those green kimsha bows look really sweet!
Fitter.... or green glass and yew lams.... that is a right pretty combination. My newest, a Jet bow has green back and gray belly and looks outstanding. and, it is my thoughts.... that green glass is the fastest !
ChuckC
I will check it out thank you. Congrats on the new Jet
Thank you Sir thats a beautiful bow but Im looking for a traditional ASL. Thanks, Craig
There is something about the white belly and the green back that just tickles my innards. There is no logic to it, but 'that's way it is', as that wierdo that played the owl part at Bohemian Grove always used to say.
I've got a Long River Longbow with dark green glass with Bamboo limbs that Gus made for me years ago. It is a thing of beauty and I maybe shot 20 arrows thru it. At 61lbs at 26" it is a little too heavy for me.
Tickle your innards.....LOL that used to be the Mt. Dew slogan a long time ago.
I agree though about green / white...classy!
Green / white
Red / White
Red / Yellow
So many choices!
I just sent an order to Steve at Northern Mist for one of his new Ramers, green glass back and belly over bamboo cores, and told him to surprise me with the wood in the handle. I'm excited and can't wait to see what he comes up with.
I think green glass in a longbow makes a fine looking bow. Northern Mist Shelton (string follow), elm limbs, Bolivian Rosewood handle.

No Problem Craig, I was just trying to tempt you into trying out D/R.
Thanks
Greg, stay away from that Mountain Dew, especially the diet variety, that stuff will kill cockroaches. Come on, Nate, I am getting old fast. The older you get the faster time goes by, until you are waiting for a bow, then everything grinds to a screeching halt. Green back, white belly, bamboo riser duo shooter with the Hill money bow flattened grip with a slight dish. You have no idea how much I wish could I show you a picture of that bow.
Gonna be a real nice bow Pavan
Shucks, was all set for a good read why you do not like Terry.
green glass is my favorite.on any bow on any day.
Just kidding Nate. It was 54 degrees here today, I slopped around in the melting slush for about 200 arrows, the sunshine and fresh air exercise got me a little wound up. then tonight I worked on mezmerizing this thing and I once again learned the value of patience. I have a long way to go before I can do this one in front of anyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xB_eCoga_M
My dream bow. If I could find one with a light weight I'd buy it instantly.

Just got off the phone with Mr. Turay a few minutes ago...... he had the bow I wanted in stock. Classic w bamboo core, green glass and black walnut handle. I wanted one of his bows because of his quality and reputation..... I have always known he had quite a waiting list..... but have the green glass bow Ive wanted for a long time. Now I just hope my arm holds up
Of course, you will post detailed pics when it comes. It is just the right thing to do.

Yes Sir by all means
I suggest this, I always tell people do not add anything and do not miss anything, I have seen it work for all but two people, that did not fully apply the regime. Those that do exactly this have had excellent hunting success. It is my number one rule for getting longbows and arrows from me. With longbows, I see no reason what so ever to reinvent an individual method. Just yesterday I young fellow that I had given a Bear Grizzly to a few years ago, I of course allow adjustments to match a bows grip, came to me wanting to go longbow. He saw us in the yardI was turning over an old Schulz in exchange for one my old bows, we watched the video for the third time, and sooner after, bow exchange number two for the day happened. Some days I feel like a bow library with a voluntary return policy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4kIpsoi6oY
It would be nice if those who are holding my dvds of the Schulz tutorial would return them, all I have left is one video tape copy. it is an original issue, I wonder what it is worth?
