Very pleased! Shoots excellent and feels wonderful. Also in great shape... I paid $137 for it on #$
My only concern is the discoloration on pic #2.... Do y'all think it's a stress mark or completely normal? Be honest. It won't hurt my feeling's.. It's still great bow to have hanging in the Den if it's not safe to shoot...

ALSO! Recommendations on brace height???
Grizzly*** (Title)
Very nice looking bow and good acquisition.
I would not worry about shooting that bow at all!
A lot of archers shoot bows with stress in the limbs.I have had many vintage Bears and never had one blowup.
Now if it had severe stress and deep cracks that would be different.
Shoot it well, nothing wrong with that bow, I have a 69 Bear SK that looks like it was dragged across the mountain and through the stream, still shoots as well as day 1.
I'd shoot the heck outa that bow. Nice shape. I also have many old bear bows with stress cracks like crazy. I shoot them all the time. Good looking bow right there. I'd pu The brace height around 8". That seems to be close to where all my grizzlys are except for my 1959. That ones lower. Congrats on the purchase
Thanks everyone for the replies!
That is a good looking bow and I can't find what you are referring to as a possible stress mark. The glass that I can see on that bow appears to be in excellent condition.
The serial number says that this one is a 1967 model. Very nice!
Super nice steal! I see no visible issues with that bow. Shoot the heck out of it!
Good looking bow. It`s been kept very good care of over the decades!
I have a 1966 50# Bear Grizzly.
Don`t shoot it much since picking up a 50 year old Wing Gull.
The 50# Bear was just too much for my bad shoulder.
Looks nicer that my Griz. Mine has stress cracks in the glass and it has been fine since I purchased it in 1985.
