Title: where do you get your Wood Shafting?
Post by: Zwickey-Fever on February 05, 2017, 05:53:00 PM
Just wondering where do you get your wood shafts from. For me, I just ordered a dozen of premium shafts from Surewood shafts for the first time. I have ordered from a few other places and just looking for other wooden arrow makers suggestions and input. Thanks.

I buy mine direct from Surewood.  Do a quick "search" on here and you will see all the different arrow suppliers that are sponsors of TG.

Surewood first, Wapiti second, Hildebrand third. If I get a set from somewhere else on occasion, if I can't find my preferred weight range from the above... THEY have gotten them from Hildebrand or Surewood.

All have been from Surewood for the last several years.

After having some kustom king German Spruce arrows I made up bounce off the AZ. rocks yesterday I am reconsidering my choice of woods. My only issue is the 6-8 doz. cedars and Doug Fir I have.

Mostly I go to my storage cabinet in my basement. Probably have about 50 dozen POC shafts, some older ACME stuff.  Once in a while I need a spine group I don't have and then I order from Wapiti Archery.  They have some excellent shafts.

I've only bought a couple dozen, but I have to agree 100% with you. Great customer service, great product, and the shafts got here way faster than expected.
