Title: Martin Savannah vs Martin stealth
Post by: Jessebeaux on January 25, 2017, 03:02:00 PM
I plan to purchase one of these in the next few weeks - I have shot them both and liked each one. Is there any real difference besides for the colors? Obviously, there is a price difference and I'm not quite sure why.

The difference in color is from a difference in materials which also creates the price difference. Hope you do not have to pay list price.

I Bought the stealth in 40# absolutely beautiful bow, love the belly laminations! Unfortunately my first one started to delam and developed a crack along the riser within a couple months. Luckily martins coustomer service was top notch and the rep I talked to was very nice. They built me a new one within a month a still have the bow. Haven't been shooting it my but today tuned it up with some 50-55 surewood shafts with 155 grain grizzlies. Out hunting with it now, you'll be very impressed with the feel and looks of this bow!
Be sure to check the nocks on the stealth if you get it I had to sand mine down as they were a little rough

I have an older Savannah as well as a newer stealth. The older is 50# and the newer 35#. I cannot honestly say there is any difference. I love them both (I do have some so-called name customs) but I bought both used. They are a bit pricey new.
