Title: LH ILF Wooden Riser
Post by: bravo on January 24, 2017, 01:35:00 PM
Dear friends in Archery,

Thank you for reading my first post!

I am new to archery and am in the market for my first bow.

I got a lot of great recommendation on TradTalk and someone mentioned this forum so here I am, introducing myself.

Instead of opting for an entry-level bow I've decided to get an ILF Wooden riser that will be with me for good and upgrade the limbs as I get better at this.

I think 19" would be a good length for both target and maybe hunting (when I get good enough to put down my rifle).

If anyone has any thoughts or recommendations, please let me know. Thank you!

Lancaster has the ******** Trident which is affordable and looks like a good design.

Travisc406, thank you. I did look into the wooden risers at Lancaster but couldn't find anything I liked.

Wingnut! Thank you! I've been looking at your website as a possibility. It was the second one that came up from a Google search for ILF wooden risers.

Very impressive work! I really loved what I saw.

Dryad Bows is on my very short list of possible places to purchase from.

I am also considering purchasing a used one. I know left handed ones are harder to come by but who knows. I may get lucky.
