Is this only for the TGMM members? I will gladly donate some strings for some kids to start shooting!
Hey Daniel!
Usually getting into TGMM occurs each time there's a St Jude auction. Last year it was skipped, for various reasons. A set donation to St Jude gets you membership. The primary perk is the giveaway bows for kids and knowing your one-time membership dues went to a great cause. Your dues help put smiles on the faces of children with illnesses, and the giveaway bows put smiles on kids who want to have their own temporary bow, as we ask that the bows be given away to another new young and budding archer in the same giving spirit that got it into the hands of the first kid.
TGMM is only about paying it forward. Always.
An offering for membership should be forthcoming during the next St Jude auction in late May.
what does TGMM stand for?
what does TGMM stand for?
There are more active members in TGMM then I but we hear this all the time as a question.
The letters you'd never guess... and Trad Gang are not in the answer of TGMM...
It is NOT some sort of secret society, but the originator thought it would be valuable to have folks "ante up" the "dues" to St. Judes of $150 for a lifetime membership, before they learned what it stood for...
It's not a biggie or something earth shattering, just a fun wee bit of something to keep a tiny bit of mystery involved and entice folks to belly up to the bar and donate to St. Judes during the annual fest.
Daniel, I'm sure if you wished to donate strings, before you get a chance to jump in and becoming a life member, you could easily contact Bud or the O. P and volunteer your wares...
Not into guessing games. I do my fare share with donations so I will leave it at that.
I'm not a member.
They do a lot of great things for our lifestyle...
I'll leave it at that.
THANKS, Terry
You are certainly welcome .....all of you
