Loved my first one so much that I had Brian build me another. Sent him chocolate myrtle veneers and riser blocks of chocolate myrtle and Bastogne walnut burl that I got from IdahoCurt. This one is around 59#@29" and 64" long with antler tips.

My other stickflinger has limbs that are 56# and 63# at 29", so I figured it knew what arrows would fly well. Put some tape on the string for a nocking point, and here is my first 2 shots at around 18 yards. One with a 175 grain tigershark, and the other with a 230 grain javelina lite.

That's a beauty Pat.
Just waiting for another picture of the bow laying across a hog.
Talk about a sweet looking bow !!!! Congrats
Tall tines are hard to beat. Not only are they good looking but they shoot even better. That is one of the best looking stickflingers I've seen. Now just needs some blood on it!
Nick
Nice. great bows.
Jeff
Wow that thing is fantastic!
Very nice!
NICE! Pat, congrats.

And he is finishing up my recurve now. Spoiler alert!

Good eye on the riser wood Pat. Does that Walnut have some mass weight to it?
Pretty light, actually. Nothing nearly as heavy as my ebony Stickflinger. Might be nice for elk hunting. The added weight of a quiver and 5 arrows adds plenty for stability. My arrows each should weigh a little over 600 grains. Not sure one of my stickflingers I favor yet, appearance wise. I know the ebony is a great shooter, and this one looks like it will be too.

Very Nice!
WOW  what a looker!!! Beautiful bow. I'm going to have to get my hands on a stickflinger and give one a try.
Man I love it!
Both are sweet looking bows! I hope I get to shoot them both some day :)
Wow those are beautiful bows, nicely done! What is the wait time for a Tall Tines out of interest?

Thanks Steve O!

Beautiful stick for sure Pat...

Yep, from the same riser block.
Pat, both your bows are stunning and I wouldn't choose one over the other. Like you said the lighter one can be nice to carry Elk hunting. Well done
awesome looking bow wood combo.
Wow,that came out beautiful Pat! Brian created a work of art from the Myrtle we picked out.
I've always thought a TT with some fine Walnut in the riser would be about as sweet as it could get. I've talked about it wilth Brian a number of times but never followed thru. Should have! That is awesome Pat.
Thanks everyone!
Wow! Just beautiful!
That's a nice looking bow Pat. Nice wood combo. Walnut always looks good.
Really sharp bows.
I must admit I am more partial to the recurve limbs! I love that shiny iridescent aspect of myrtle like that. you are going to have you hands full trying to choose between the recurve of longbow. Looks like a heck of a good time to me.
Very nice pat. I think myrtle and walnut are my favorite woods to pair up. Of course there's a lot of variation but beautiful none the less.
I thought you were a Tip guy Pat. :dunno:

Killed alot of stuff with my thunderchild. Great bow. Then I got a Silvertip from Bill Webster, and did well with that. When I saw Dave Sisamis bring his stickflinger elk hunting, I had to have one. They are so quiet and smooth. Been using a lighter weight Silvertip this year because of some string arm tendonitis that won't go away, and doing pretty well with it, but I liked my stickflinger so much that I wanted another, and I have heard so many great things about the TallTines recurves from friends that I decided to get one made. I have alot of bows on the rack that need to be sold, but I have been too lazy to get that done. Bottom line is that I guess I have no loyalty to a bow, lol. Just hunt with the one I have more confidence in. Killed a few critters with my stickflinger, but the recurves give me more clearance in a blind or treestand.
Beautiful Bow! I can't wait to shoot one someday
