Do you prefer the longbow or recurve limbs?

Recurve b/c I have used a recurve since 1975.I got longbow limbs and recurve with my new bow last year and bought a used bow with longbow limbs but have not hunted with them just 3-d and stump shooting but I like short bows and hunt with a 58" most of the time. The 60" 49 lb. longbow limbs I have tempt me though so may try to kill a deer with them have always used mid 50's.Kip

I like the l/b limbs a little better myself.

Brant if you want to try them out I have recurve and longbow limbs.

I have LB limbs and like the way they look better. Shooting, I can't really tell the diff, excep tthat recurve seems a little faster.

i love my recurve limbs. Mainly because of appearance. I just think a recurve looks sexy as hell. lol

but they sure shoot too

Are the longbows limbs more quiet than the recurve limbs?

Thanks Mike!

I would like to take you up on that some time.  Work has given me little time off this season,  maybe later in the year we could meet up.

I work @ the paper mill and Shreveport is only an hour from home.

Thanks to all for posting and hope you all have a great season.
