While sifting thru the many pages here on TG, I have noted that there are many creative and inventive minds here. So let's see some of those great budget saving hunting/archery creations.
I'll get the ball rolling. We are finally getting some snow here in OH so I sat down and got these ready in about 30 minutes.
$5 for a pair of painters bibs at the discount clothing store, and another $5 for a giant super sharpie.

I like it a lot...
Id have never thought of that, Great idea
Good Job!
Get a brown marker too and you just made yourself some winter ASAT
Well I just made a tab and arm guard but they are far too ugly to post here. But my Mora is my favorite piece of kit. Itheyre cheap, easy to sharpen and kind of old school cool. I "fixed" the handle and made the scandi sheath for mine so hopefully it will be allowed here!

That's really cool!
Disposable tyvek coveralls work well for snow camo. A bit noisy but thorn and burr resistant. I've used permanent markers to add "branches".
I like it!!
I put black dye on a pair of khakis one time. After I washed them it was khakis and purple streaks! Lol
Hogs don't seem to notice tho! :biglaugh:

Anything done at home to save a dollar or make something better counts in my book.
C'mon guys. I know there are more "home remedies" out there that would spark our interest. Let's see them!!

This is actually the second pair of snow bibs I've done. Also did a white hoodie to match. Kinda outgrew the first pair of bibs(I still say the wife shrunk them). The black sharpie will also fade and get a little purple looking after washing. But the deer don't seem to notice either. Ive managed to stalk and take two deer under 20 yds with this camo. Neither had a clue I was there until I turned the arrow loose.
