I'm going to order some surewoods to shoot this year. I'm shooting a great northern lil creep 53@28". I draw to 28" and want to shoot a 29" arrow to the back of the point. I shooting an 18 strand TS plus Flemish splice string as well. I've used 55-60lb spined cedar and tamarack with pretty good results. I'm leaning towards 60-65lb spine so I can shoot a little heavier point. Thoughts?

You'll find you will need a bit more weight then just a little, in going to 60-65, since you're at 29 inches on 55-60, especially if you want to get back to a 29" BOP arrow with the 60-65.

I am shooting 56# Wild Horse Creek Kestrel with 125 up front 29 inches BOP.60-65 Fly wonderful.I also shoot nothing but Surewoods.

Doesn't matter what others shoot...unless the shelf is cut the same. To center? Past center? Before center?

Assuming the Creep is cut a little out from center, you might do fine with the 55-59 and a 160 point at 29" BOP. Shoot them and find out. If you want a 200ish point, you will probably need at least the 60-64 spine.

It's 1/8" out.

I'd go with Fletcher's estimate, on the 55-59's.
