Dear Black Widow - Please, if you have any decency at all....do not bring a KB one piece model in Greenleaf, right handed, Asbell grip, 58 inches long, pulling 60# a@ 28" to the Expo in Kalamazoo next month. Thank you.
Love Always,
Rogers Wallet

Know how ya feel!Dang Bows.... :banghead:
Good thing that Expo is so far away from me.I keep telling myself, I can buy another bow for what it would cost me to make the trip
-

-
Love it, Roger!
I've been thinking something similar, but for Steve Turay. If he brings a 64-66" Superior with red glass back and belly, dark riser, locator grip I may not be able to resist!
-
I understand that completely. Let me know if it works. It will be my new strategy ..
-
If they don't have one in stock, I bet Toby just started building one. :biglaugh:
-
:clapper:
Deno

Sounds like a request to me. I am sure they will have several for you to try. Good luck.
-
Well that was brave. lol

Have you shot his new Ramer? Holy smokes....a more forgiving longbow you will not find. I have several Northern Mist bows, the Ramer could replace them all, in my opinion.

Did your wife ask you to post that?

Let me answer that by telling you this story:
When we had been married about 7 years, we built a house. As we were moving in, a truck pulled up to deliver my new 30 gun vault.
Lori said: When we were first married, you had a shotgun, a deer rifle, a handgun, and an old recurve your Dad gave you. Now you need a 30 gun vault and a room designated as a "hunting room" that is full of arrows and bows....what gives?
My Answer: When we got married you had a couple pairs of shoes for work and a pair of tennis shoes for the gym. Now you need a walk in closet. Maybe we shouldn't talk about this?
We have been married 31 years and have never discussed it again. ;)
-
Sounds like a match made in heavon... the marriage and soon to be new bow!!!!....but how many new pairs of shoes equals a new black widow? Just curious for future reference. :biglaugh:
-
Classic! :goldtooth:
-
Well played sir, well played.
I have a whole list of Widows I hope they don't bring!
Jack
-
I challenge Black Widow to bring one just for spite.
-
lol that's funny. Can't wait for the show
-
Good choice! :goldtooth:
-
Oh, The Humanity!

You're such a pushover Sledge. Heck, if they wanted to be ruthless, they'd have a basket of ice filled with Guiness cans and some pepper shooters on a platter with toothpicks to use as a bait pile. They may as well call their taxidermist right now and order up a slight facing right form (for an extra large noggin however). :D

I will buy ANYTHING offered with Guinness and pepper shooters.... ;)
-
If I had your money I would ask them to bring two, one for you and one for your wife. lol
-
I won't even look at their catalog any more. It has some crazy power over me.
-
Well Done! :clapper: :biglaugh:

A good belly laugh is a great start to new year! Well done Roger.
-
That is sooo funny ROFL. Thanks :-)

There was an old traditional saying "a fool attending the Expo and his money shall soon part ways"

There's another old saying "Never call the guy in charge of the wood stove a fool"
:scared:

There's another older saying, never give a never challenge to the guy preparing your dinner. :p

Mine should be here soon. I won't post pics so you don't feel like I'm rubbing it in. PCHX green leaf riser with curly maple limbs stained green to match.

Ah. Lets just have a Jamieson and never worry about the rest.

Well hell, we knew that!!!

Well, they tried to fool me. They didn't bring one at 60#, they brought a 58#'er....HA! It takes more than that to trick me out of a new bow!
All kidding aside, this bow is beautiful. Smooth, quiet, fast....as I shot it, I was brought back to when my Dad first handed his Bear Super Kodiak down to me. I love this bow....more pics to come. Thanks Roger and Toby!!!

That is awesome! I sure love my 54"KB!!!! Well done to you & Black Widow...
-
I remembered this post while I was testing some of the Black Widows. Glad you got the bow you wanted. :)
-
Congrats Roger, I'm glad they didn't get one over on you :goldtooth:
-
That's awesome Roger, my daughter was shooting a KB 60" 40# lights out at the show, the guys at Black Widow make a great bow no matter what model. Looking forward to more pics.
Jason
-
You sure showed them that they couldn't fool you. Yep it seems that great looking bow didn't fool you for a minute.:-)
-
That bow has spring turkeys written all over it. Congratulations buddy. It's good to have lightweight bow in the arsenal.
-
Congrats that is a beautiful bow!!!
-
See thats the problem with those guys at black widow. They don't listen and they won't be happy till they have all of our money. Nice bow good for you.
-
Not surprised by this outcome at all !!! :biglaugh:
-
Believe it or not, Today is the first time I've read this post. Looks like it was just meant to be. Thanks Roger
-
Can't say I've been a huge fan of Widow bows. But, after seeing some recent pic's, especially the "green-ish" one in this topic, I'm starting to think twice. Beautiful bow Roger.

:bigsmyl:
-
Nice bow Roger, sorry I didn't get to spend more time visiting with you. You are going to have a tough time deciding which bow to hunt with!!!! You have way too many great shooters to pick from
-
Nice bow!
-
Yup, for a minute I was worried Roger would not have a bow to shoot. The world is right again.
-
Hey Roger, did it have an Asbell grip too?
