Lucky duck, arrow shafts are always good gifts for a trad archer!
My wife got me a leather tobacco pouch for my pipe. Handmade by a local blacksmith that made me a skinning knife as well.
I got a Vortex monocular small and easy to carry in your pocket great for on stand or in the ground blind !!

Traditional Bowhunters Path book by Ron Rohrbaugh Jr
Looks like it's going to be a good read.
Merry Christmas, Everybody :)
Santa brought me Simmons Interceptor 190gr. and Zwickey Delta 170gr :D
Can't wait to put these babies at work!
Enjoy your holidays, wish you to spend them with the people you love the most.
Best,
Max
Merry Christmas everyone! The wife got me a new trail camera and a sd card reader for my iPhone. She did good! Enjoy the family time everyone. This is a great time of year.
My sister dropped by and gave me a pack of orange fletchings! she is the best.
I think they work pretty good and look even better.

My wife's the best! Lancaster Archery gift card and a couple books---Howard Hill The Man and the Legend and Hunting the Hard Way.
I got two of my 3 kids set up with longbows, arrows, arm guards, and new strings (youngest is still too young). I probably just seriously cut into my own shooting time.
I have a Longhunter shirt in Evening Stand Brown, but I haven't opened it yet...gotta run all the riff- raff outta the house, lol! The reason I know is because Santa asked for help....some things are best not left to chance or you'll end up with ties, socks, and underwear. My son/daughter-in-law are learning, though. They gave me an insulated zip-up hooded jacket in the perfect plaid for that first crisp October morn...but I think Santa may have helped them!
I got a new 59' Bear Kodiak Recurve!!!
Here is a picture of the riser. (http://i.imgur.com/W1FZipeh.jpg)
I got some feathers, paint, field points. I also got that Bear Paw setup for using screw on brass points for wood arrows. I happened to have a few new made arrows to try it on. Works great and no taper tool required.
Hunting clothing mainly, some I bought and some that were heavily hinted at to my children :biglaugh:

I got an asbell pullover in evening stand brown, extra heavy weight. I love that thing already. I also got "Campfire reflections", and "Just another old bowhunter". I also got 6 RW, 155 grain grizzly broadheads. I also have a clip shot on order, as well as a new quiver for the longbow I'm having made. Also have a new digital grain scale on the way.
I bought for myself a digital grain scale and two new tabs.
Beman Centershots from my younger daughter - she's a wheelie bow shooter but she is making noises about trying a recurve again one day, I have some woody's that were hers from when she was a teen, I asked her if I should move them on and she said keep them so she may well walk into the light!
A Mellinium G100 blind chair.
My bets friend for 30 plus years gave me Monty Browning's book for Christmas, can not wait to start reading it. :bigsmyl:
Santa was VERY good to me! Quality hunting socks, a deer dragging harness, Sitka Mountain pants, a couple Sitka caps, a gift card to the local archery shop and a fifty dollar KUIU gift card. Far more than a schmuck like me deserves. I'm very blessed.
Santa was good to me...! New Black Widow PMA.

Art Vincent made "Shootist" quiver for 3D. Purchased off the TradGang classifieds. Looked great under the tree. :archer:
Millennium M100u hang on! As excited as I am about this stand I will probably wait till next season to start using it. My climber is hanging in a good spot and I can only hunt 3 more evenings this season. My buddy and I hunt together a lot and
We have talked about these stands all year and the versatility of them and their mounting system. I think our wives caught the hint!
Evidently my family knows what I like. I ended up getting the Traditional Bowyers Bible volumes 1-4, Best of Trails End by Jim Dougherty, a really cool antique Bear arrow box with some arrows and unused Razorheads, and to top it all off a 1966 Bear bearcat recurve with an awesome zebrawood riser. It was pretty good year!
