Title: Single Arrow Stalker Quivers for 2 or 3 Blade Broadheads
Post by: 2fletch on December 23, 2016, 02:46:00 PM
At EFA we make a quiver for 2 blade broadheads, but recently we have developed a 3 blade model. Before putting it on the website I wanted to run it by some of you, and would appreciate your imput. I'm having some problem with Phtobucket, so some photos might be in a later post.

Looks great for those that want a quick arrow at hand for a follow ups shot. Nice work.

Those are perfect.  I make my own just because I have plenty of material around but for folks who aren't equipped or just don't want to make their own I highly recommend that you try this system.

If I had the choice, Id prefer one with the rivets, so as to save the stitching on a rushed arrow pull from the quiver. Other than that, I like what youve made.

The ones I make are all stitched and have never been a problem in that regard.  Doubt if the EFA ones would be either.

That will work. No doubt. Just like a good knife sheath. The blade should never be able to touch the stitching. Rivits either for that matter. That would dull the edge.   Ken

These are made with heavyweight leather, made slightly oversized, and stitched tightly. I don't think that an average hunter would have any problem with one of these. I've been using one on the bow shown with no issues.

Hi Wally. Hope that you and everyone had a "Merry Christmas"! Are you going to the Carolina Trad. Arch. events? I've got to start going back down there again. They are a great bunch of guys with a lot of talent.

I've been thinking about it but am going to try and make some of the Barefoot Archers(I think thats the name - formerly Sissipahaw) shoots for sure....Hope to see you there...

Good to hear from you Tony. It would be great to see you guys again. We shoot here in the shop on Tuesday nights. Several of the guys who shoot here would really enjoy a CTA event. I hate to commit to a particular date, but sometime in the next few months I'd like to go.

Thanks Tony for the mention - I know CTA is a really good organization and have some real good folks in it....I kinda took a break for the last 2 years from 3D - but miss seeing a lot of you guys...Hope to fix that this year...

CTA was the first club that I joined after getting back into archery after a 30 year period. At that time they were shooting at Herb Reynold's house and it was something. On one occasion it was raining and the course was muddy. Everyone who wasn't shooting was gathered in the carport. Their home was made available to use the bathroom, and wow was the floor a mess when we finished. Herb's wife went beyond the call of duty to support Herb's club. She was a dear.

They have always been rich with talent at CTA. There are a number of top notch bowyers, arrowsmiths, and other craftsmen, along with some great cooks, and good people. Gosh, I just wish that they were closer by.

Are they wide enough for Snuffers and long enough for Woodsmans?
