Title: Brace height?

Can anyone tell me what the brace height measurement is on a late 70 s Bear glass powered Kodiak Magnum..  on its side it as written..amo.52" 40#...green color thx for any and all help... pat

I run my Bear's around 8" as well.

When in doubt on a recurve, a good place to start is usually to twist the string until you can see about 1/4" of string groove under the string.

Jim Casto Jr, That is a good tip. Thanks. It is  not only a good starting point for an unknown bow but a quick double check for the rest.    Ken

My bears have the highest BH of any of my other bows. It is amazing what the difference in sound is when you get it right on a Bear.
