This gal came through while I was deer hunting this morning. Passed by at about 40 yards and then circled around and came back a few minutes later at 25yards. The fire button in my brain went off and I decided I wanted to shoot. The skin is now salted and I'll see if I can make a decent looking hide out of her.

Wow, congratulations! I've never been able to crack that nut, good job!
Nice shooting, looks like she'll make an excellent hide. :campfire:
The only good coyote is a dead coyote! And the pelts are worth a bit now.
Very nice harvest, killing a 'yote with my bow is one of my life goals----and have tried many times to get it done, too. Very elusive and wiley creature.
Congratulations on a what could be a once in a lifetime kill.
Jeff
Congrats man,,Hardly ever see that with a bow,
Congrats great trophy!
Good job! That's definitely a toughie with a bow.
Well done, youngin'!
Very nice, it is tough to shoot one with a bow. Congrats!!! Kill all of them as far as I am concerned~!! Shawn
Nice trophy there!
"Coyotes ar`nt all bad, they kill sheep do`nt they" J. Frank Dobie Must of been a cattleman huh.
Nice dog and even nicer bow!
You have accomplished a tough feat. I've taken a couple of coyotes with a bow, but I reckon it was more lucky than anything.
I disagree with the "only good coyote is a dead coyote" sentiment. Although I have, and will, hunt them, I couldn't imagine the West without them. I live two long bow shots from the coast fork of the Willamette River. Lately of an evening if I've stoked the fire a bit more than I should and need to crack a window for air, I can hear the nightly congregation called to order. Occasionally, I slip outside after the girls have gone to bed, and cut through the corner of the neighbors field to the larger pasture along the river's edge. If the moon is full and the sky is clear, like it's been the last few nights in the great state of Western Oregon, I'll catch a glimpse of the song dogs as they lope by.
Would hate to lose those times.
Stan
StanM , couldn't agree more.

I like to hear them myself. It stirs something deep within me. The call of the wild? I dunno.Maybe I'm just envious cause they're on their nightly hunt and I'm getting ready for bed cause I gotta go to work. MAybe it's all the above, can't exactly put my finger on it.
Beautiful shooting there bud.
That's terrific! Would you mind saying what type of bow you were using? It does indeed look nice. Cheers!
Nice! That's gotta be one of the toughest critter to take with a bow! You oughta be proud of that one. The big smile kinda gives it away. Congrats !
GREAT!!!!Now the spec's?What bow and#######and broadhead?????????
Fantastic! Way to go Chris! If you make it to The Sweat this year you are likely to get #2. There are lots of them there! Great job! Congrats! CK
FANTASTIC!!! Good shootin!!
Thanks a bunch guys.
The bow is a zipper recurve that my brother gave to me for my birthday a year ago. I'm trying to follow the good Dr. Asby's recommendations so I'm shooting a 600 grain carbon with Stos heads. I didn't have to look too hard for the blood on this girl. The arrow went in right behind the shoulder blade and out in front of the opposite leg.
Curtis...I wish I could make it to the sweat this year but I got to take the wife and kiddo's on a vacation first.
Chris
Good job Chris

 :notworthy:
AWESOME! I had one last night at 20 yards but got caught before I could draw. What a trophy. Way to go!
Way to go bud! One of bowhuntings greatest trophy's in my opinion.....CONGRATS :clapper:
Congratulations Chris!! Those yotes can be very elusive game. What an accomplishment to take one with a bow.
POP
Proud of you bro!
Congrats,
I've only seen two with bow in hand. Both times they saw me at about the same time I saw them and were gone in a flash.
They are definitly hard to get close too and a worthy adversary.
Great job! You must have been very well hidden.
Nice, I am jealous :notworthy: .
That's awesome! One of my top goals is to also take a coyote with a bow. A week ago Saturday, I saw three of them in an hour all within 15 yards, but no shot. I was hunting the inside corner of a bean field, sitting down in my tree stand facing the woods. I thought I heard something behind me. I turned to see too big ones trotting along the edge of the field through my shooting lane, one behind the other. A half hour later another one comes through. This time, I squeeked at it and stopped it twice, but he was already past my shooting lane. Those things don't sit still for long, especially in the open.
Nice shot!
Very nice! I was lucky enough to kill two within 30 seconds of each other several years ago. Both took the same path right under my tree stand. Haven't had a shot at another one since.

Outstanding archery trophy there! Congrats!
Congrats!
Thats a helluva trophy with a bow and a fine looking bow at that.
Good Job!!
very cool!
Way to go! Coyote`s are beautiful, smart, fast,
and always hungry.
My hunting experience is limited, but I believe a coyote with a bow is way up there on the list of most difficult!!!
Congrats Chris! Not a bad looking bow either!
Nice trophy Chris. Congrats. Is that your first game with the Extreme?
