What do you guys recommend for angle? Right now I have my test one at 25 degrees and it seems to be roughly the factory angle just... way more refined.
Side note- I am unsure why KME makes a broadhead sharpener for stones? their normal knife sharpener works just fine apparently.

I am totally ignorant of physics, so my opinion may not be worth much. It seems to me that the consistency of the angle would be more important (within reasonable limits)than the actual degree of angle.
I have seen angles of 17 up to 25 degrees suggested for knife, arrow, and similar cutting edges. All work well if the edge is smooth and polished. I usually sharpen by a freehand method (although I do sometimes use a KME) and just follow the angle that comes on a blade. For me, no matter the angle, when it shaves hair, I quit sharpening.
I think you want to stick with something around 25 degrees since a broadhead has to stand up to rib bones, hair, fat, etc.

don't worry about degree of angle, they always talk about being sharp as a razor, well how many have ever sharpened a hollow ground straight razor?
there basically is no angle on it.
I never worried about the angle of my blades. Mark the rough edge with a marker & file off the ink. Should be about right.
Take a good quality file to them. That's the beauty of shooting Zwickeys, easy to sharpen and file sharp is plenty sharp. Same with the old Bear greenies.
Called Zwickey archery a few months back to ask about the angle and Mr. Zwickey answered. Asked him what angle he made the Zwickey and he said he didn't rightly know which kinda shocked me! Asked how long he had making broadheads ,him being in his eightys, and he said for seventy years. He said he just sharpens them and goes hunting. Still shoots a recurve and always owned land in northern Wisconsin. Fun talking to him.
We sharpen all ours at 22 degrees with great results. I make a product just for this Im not allowed to mention here that does a great job.

One of the reason I like large single bevel broadheads. Even a dummy like me can run a file across them and get them pretty sharp.
If you have a kme rig and nice set of stone then you can play with all different types of angles and see what you like the best.
I sharpen mine about 20* bevel..its pretty close to factory and doesnt take long
