Title: Just made some stump arrows (pic)
Post by: Matt S on October 28, 2007, 07:23:00 PM
Hey all, these turned out better than I could have hoped and thought I would share.

Got the shafts from Wal-Mart, the cheap $3.50 ones. Striped em of their vanes and labels then took an old 2117 shaft and cut it up to make the footings. got the wingnuts from the hardware store for a whopping 78 cents I think. The flu-flu feathers I've had and used like 5 bucks worth from my stock. Total cost is around $25 bucks. Pretty happy with that price and they fly good to boot!

Those look like good small game arrows, almost too nice looking for stumps, should work great though.
