I have a new 3 pc Pronghorn coming next month. Made with Herb's small handle and 60" limbs that make a 58" bow and #48-@26". All bacotte with a red stripe through the handle. Anyhow I know a bunch of people have Pronghorns and I know that Tippit has put some pics up but I can't find them. So I would like to see some pic's if you have them. Thanks in advance.

Go to the search function and search Pronghorn longbow arrived. I have several pictures of mine posted. I can't seem to repost them. You are going to love your Pronghorn. They are great shooting bows and Mr. Herb Meland is a pleasure to deal with. Mine is a 64 inch 3pc with curly maple riser. I have a 62 inch 3pc that should arrive in two weeks, it is going to have a hickory riser with black glass. Both longbows have red elm limb core. Mr. Herb loves using red elm, so I took his advice. Proud I did. It shoots like a dream.
One of the best shooters I own, Ziricote and Zebrawood, 62",51# @ 28", Bamboo limb core.

Can't see much detail of the bow in this pic, but also a 58" and a GREAT hunter. Wish it was a few pounds lighter now, but I can work back into it pretty quick.

Hey Steve those specs sound perfect for me! check out rocky mountain specialty gear's website. They carry a good number of Pronghorns.
A very nice 3 piece longbow IMO
Thanks for the pictures and comments guys! I had a 3 pc all bacotte. I had it for a lot of years and it got to be to much # for me so I sold it. Bad move on my part. I have tried to buy it back to no avail. So I ordered this one , same bow smaller handle and lighter #. I'm really looking forward to this one. Thanks Clay, I checked out there site and they did have a few.
I have a 1 piece coming soon. Had a 3 piece years back and I know that you will like it a lot.
Man Tater I keep looking at that Zebra stripe through the handle and man is that sharp looking!!

X2...bow is gorgeous!
It took me a while to convince Herb to build the riser that way, he knows what works and his bows are pretty much bullet proof, he doesn't like to vary from what he knows works.
Once he got it done he agreed it is one of the nicest bows he's built and he's built some beauties.
When I ordered mine I asked Herb to put a red glass stripe through the handle. That is what my original one had, I thought of it as a blood line.He said it wouldn't be a problem. I can't hardly wait for this bow to come in the mail. I have been trying for days to figure out how to post pic's from my phone, so when it comes I can post some. Hopefully I get it figured out.
Here are a couple links for you.

Here is one that I sadly sold. Wish I still had it.

This is mine. I've got three sets of limbs for her, 50#-55# and 63#, she's 60" of pure shooting joy. I believe Tater took an Elk with her when she was younger.
The last two pics are as I got her, the rest are after I refinished her. I sanded off the old finish, then hand rubbed Teak oil until she was sealed, then applied multiple coats of wax. The pics do not do justice to her, for one they come out too yellowish. Herb used one of most beautiful pieces of Tiger Maple I've ever seen. The grain looks so 3d it appears you're seeing a quarter inch into the wood. This is one bow I'll never sell, just keep getting lighter limbs as needed. I flirt with other bows of course, but this is the one that gets scooped up in the house on fire scenario!

Danny,
Wow she looks beautiful, nice work on the grip and the refinish. She definitely is a shooter, although I don't shoot 63#'s anymore. Good memories there.
That is a really nice looking bow Danny. Way to go on the beaver tail, nice job
Thanks. I just wish a camera would show how beautiful that grain is.
Tater, that bow of yours is a real beauty too, definitely drool inducing!
