Title: Quiver
Post by: MnFn on December 05, 2016, 11:43:00 PM
I was talking to a new trad bowhunter and he asked me about quivers.

He has a Bear Grizzley and is looking for a traditional looking quiver - I guess that means partly leather- that attaches to the bushing already in the riser.

Anybody know of one being made like that?

Check EFA, Don has several options.

Selway makes a good quiver that works great with the inserts on the new Bears.  If it is an older model, it is easy to get an original Bear Quiver on the Auction site.

Lots of options for that - Selway, Great Northern, Eagles Flight, and Thunderhorn all make insert mounted models.  All of them have their merits...and it really boils down to personal preference.

I use, and always recommend the old Bear spring arm quivers. They look (and work) great on those old Bear bows.

I've heard several people complain that the old Bear quivers are bad about being noisy on the shot. Not had any experience myself, just what I've heard. I shoot a grayling green Bear Kmag, and I am saving up for a Great Northern in green that matches my bow.

The old bear quivers are great love my four arrow leather tops  On all the bear quivers you get a buzz from loose pop rivets .alittle super glue takes care of that . I ready wish bear archery would come out and make some old retro quivers
